  1. The ‚ÄùManual Scan‚Äù window contains a listing of your mounted volumes (that is, your available disks).

  3. Click on the volumes that you wish for SPAudit to scan. Any volumes that you select will appear with a check mark in the box next to their icon.  Make sure that any remote or shared volumes are not selected as this may yield multiple counts for the remote files.

  5. At this point, you can also select the types of files for which SPAudit will scan (i.e., Applications and/or Extensions.  Because of the prevalence of Extensions in the Macintosh environment, we recommend that Extensions be checked in addition to Applications.

  7. After you have finished making these selections, press the Scan button begin your scan.
